Chiropractor Doctor | Our Education
Chiropractic Doctors go through an extensive amount of education. Starting with an undergraduate degree and then into 4 years of the profession studies. Within the 4 years of training to be a doctor of Chiropractic, 2 of those years are of basic sciences, which are required to pass the boards. The other 2 years of the Chiropractic studies include the clinical sciences part, which is also required by the National Boards. The third part of the National Boards of Chiropractic training is imperative if the specific Chiropractor plans to use physiological therapeutics within the practice. The last part in order to become a Chiropractor Doctor is focused on diagnostic imaging, case management, and chiropractic techniques training. There are also post graduate residency programs available where Chiropractor Doctors have the ability to work towards the goal of gaining board certification. These pro-graduate programs are also offered by various sites throughout the US.

The course work for chiropractic doctors includes 300+ hours, with a minimum of 5 years in practice, followed by successful completion of a written and oral examination.
